台灣大賽第5戰，義大打擊再度大爆發、以11：1擊敗兄弟，拿下3連勝取得聽牌。其中林哲瑄敲出4打數3安打的好表現，送回3分打點，林哲瑄表示：「放鬆開心的打比賽，對我而言打比賽就像在玩。」
系列戰義大從2連敗的逆境當中拿下3連勝，林哲瑄說：「其實我們沒有感覺到壓力，跟隊友們每天都很放鬆而且開心的打比賽，每天做著一樣的訓練去面對比賽，放鬆心情把比賽當作在玩。」
對戰耐森林哲瑄總是打的特別好，林哲瑄表示他沒有設定什麼球路，就是「球來就打」，好好盯著每一顆球，然後盡全力的揮擊。對於葉總的執教方式，林哲瑄表示：「葉總很相信我們，讓我們更能享受比賽。」
